A Message From The Petersons:
October 1, 2018
We feel as though our feet have not yet touched the ground after the incredible festivities of last weekend. The whole weekend surpassed all expectations and we truly could not have imagined a better or more fitting send off for the one and only Super B. Most of all we find ourselves humbled by how many of you joined us, or were cheering us on from afar. It is no exaggeration to say that we have the world's best neighbors, friends, and family.
Biking for the Belly raised over $50K for the ACPMP Research Foundation and our event was the second highest fundraiser EVER that the organization has hosted! Absolutely phenomenal. In addition to the $50K, the Biking for the Belly raffle raised $1,429 and the online auction with Mikaela Shriffin's gear generated $1,885, adding a total of $3,314 in additional funds to our fundraising efforts. You are all amazing.
Finally, we wanted to give a shout out to a couple of the unsung heroes of last weekend. There are SO many of you to thank and who we could not have pulled off the event without--we could probably fill a dictionary. And our incredibly generous sponsors offset the vast majority of our costs in throwing this event. We also wanted to thank My Kids' Kitchen of North Hero, VT for their delicious food and for continuing to work with us as our numbers quickly grew from an estimated 100 total, to over 300. The beautiful Shore Acres Inn was our gracious host for the weekend, not only providing everything at cost, but also donating $1 of every drink sold to the ACPMP Research Foundation. Huge thanks also to Dirt Road, who played perfectly nostalgic music on a perfect fall day, completely free of charge as their donation to ACPMP. Finally, big thank yous to Pogo Senior, Steve Mease, and Emily Shaw for documenting the weekend with cameras and drones alike.

The path ahead will not be easy, and some days our packs feel heavier than others. But the love and support from all of you continually reminds us that we can "Barrett it."
With love and gratitude,
The Petersons
